Eleven Edge Early Learning centres will close for good after administrators received no offers for the sites. Seven of the centres facing closure are in Queensland. The closures follow the collapse of the childcare provider, which has left families scrambling to secure alternative care arrangements.

Administrators successfully sold some centres in a fire sale, but the remaining 11 received no bids. Parents have been given very limited time to secure new placements for their children as the shutdown moves ahead.
