The Scottish Government has pledged a £14m funding boost towards the renovation of Glasgow's People's Palace and Winter Gardens. Total costs for the museum work now pass £50m. The famous site aiming to re-open the Glasgow museum and gardens has been shut for a long time.
BBC and The Herald indicated the venue is scheduled to stay closed until 2029.
