A pool maintenance worker was exposed to chemical fumes at a San Francisco golf course. He went on his own to a hospital. A hazardous materials team and firefighters were called to the scene.
One person was hospitalized. Officials did not immediately disclose what chemical was at issue. They did not disclose either how the worker was doing. The type of chemical and the worker's condition had not been shared publicly. Emergency crews were sent after the report was made. The worker did not wait for crews to arrive. No further information was available at that point.
