LeBron James officially signed a $8 million contract to play for the Philadelphia 76ers. He declined offers coming out of Cleveland and Miami. James will step onto the court for his NBA season this week. ESPN and Sportsnet note he will become the oldest active player still in the league once the deal is official. The move puts James in the company of a young roster craving experience before games start.
