Max Verstappen characterized the on-track collision with Lewis Hamilton at the Spanish Grand Prix as "just the nature of the track." The incident happened mid-race at the Madring circuit in Madrid.

Kimi Antonelli claimed the Spanish GP on his Madrid debut, holding off Verstappen. Verstappen also offered a wry response to a successful defending effort by Lando Norris. He earlier complained about "Mickey Mouse racing" after the Hamilton clash.
