Marines from the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and sailors serving aboard the USS Tripoli arrived back on home soil on Wednesday. They wrapped up tours assigned to the 5th and 7th Fleets. In parallel, a large number of Marines and sailors stationed in Okinawa arrived back in Japan after missions tied to the Iran situation. The Tripoli docked at its home port in Okinawa, concluding its deployment.
