London police came across a small marmoset inside a laundry bag on a bus last week. Staff spotted the vulnerable animal on July 18. The animal was scared and had no water while quivering. It survived the difficult ordeal. Animal advocates called it an illegal abandonment case. Meanwhile, researchers discovered a rare monkey species in Congo’s Lomami National Park. The discovery occurred during a routine survey in the Congo Basin.
