United Airlines plans to operate direct to 10 more places abroad. It recently added Ljubljana in Slovenia and rolled out a new San Francisco service. The additions stem from a plan to increase direct flights to smaller European and global cities. San Francisco airport gets more flights through the initiative. The goal is to make trips easier by cutting out layovers and giving more direct options.
