Melbourne Storm prop Tui Kamikamica has announced his medical retirement from professional rugby league, following suffering a stroke. The respected player was a key contributor for the Storm before health complications halted his career.
The decision to step away from the game comes after consultation with doctors. Kamikamica said he will forever value his time from his NRL career, while reflecting fondly on his journey in the top tier of the sport.
He also expressed great satisfaction in his representation of Fiji's Bati national team throughout his time in rugby league. Teammates and supporters have offered strong support as he transitions into life after competing at the highest level.
