Officers detained Alexis Antonio Cedillo. He is nineteen years old. Cedillo is a Salvadoran national. Police detained the suspect after a woman who worked with him was stabbed to death in Fairfax. She shared a workplace with him. A jogger discovered the body unresponsive near a car next to a walking track. She succumbed to knife injuries.

The car and body were found in Great Falls, Virginia. It is a prosperous residential zone on the outskirts of Washington D.C. Authorities took Cedillo into detention shortly after the victim was located in the area.
