He kept batting and put up a solid total. Earlier Padikkal and Shubman Gill both reached fifties. Their runs guided India to 187 for three before the tea break. The series was at stake. Sri Lanka took on India in Colombo for the series. The first drop happened early. The second drop came right after. He did not leave. He just stayed and played.
