Michael Taaffe earned his first NFL start. He finished with his first career interception. The Miami Dolphins rookie safety grabbed a pass from Kirk Cousins after the break. Taaffe was used at safety with Zayne Anderson. Dante Trader Jr. was not part of the starting safety duo. The interception arrived on the opening possession after halftime. It gave Miami the ball to start the half. Kirk Cousins later threw his third touchdown pass. That gave them a lead of 24-13 at that stage. Taaffe's takeaway stood as the rookie's maiden NFL interception of the game.
