Rancher Barlow won the Wyoming Republican gubernatorial primary on Tuesday. Barlow defeated the Trump-backed candidate in the primary race for governor. The loss by Trump's pick extends a series of primary reversals. With the win in America's reddest state, Barlow is getting closer to the governor's office after obtaining the GOP nod.
Voters voted in Tuesday primaries held across Florida, Wyoming, Alaska, and California. While Trump's pick for governor was beaten in Wyoming, Trump-backed Representative Harriet Hageman secured the Republican Senate primary in Wyoming.
